Now i dont have one of these but i was looking at some of the experiment pictures and seen a few peoples ideas and even seen someone mention a washing machine lol.  I do have a blender would this work? It has 2 speed settings but i was worried cause i also read if you suddenly stop it kills all the sperm so how would you gradually slow it? Sorry for all the questions any help would be greatly appreciated x

I use a regular centrifuge so maybe someone else will chime in but I recommend trying the blender out.I believe a couple people have had success with it.  I did have a different centrifuge first that did "slam" the swimmers when I stopped it and when I looked in the microscope they didn't survive the wreak. Your lowest speed might be enough though. I would suggest experimenting. Take a look at a sample with your microscope right after you go from the high speed to the low speed and see what you have.

Let us know how it goes! Happy
