Please note - Not sure whether cream is allowed on ig diet as yet but soon to find out

Mild Chicken Curry - first saute some leeks in unsalted butter then add some chicken breast diced, then add 1 teaspoon of garam masala and some chilli powder, water and then either natural yoghurt or cream and simmer, its a very mild curry and Tamara said i could use the garam masala (tesco) onle once a week!

Creamy pasta bake - firstly saute some greebeans and leeks, in unsalted butter, then add a desert spoon of plain flour to veg and stir, add some milk and then add some cream when it thickens, cook pasta seperately then combine the pasta and creamy mix you could also add some parmeasan cheese to mix for extra flavour. Add this mixture to an oven proof dish and then add soem breadcrumbs to the top ( i use homemade bread) the cook in oven to bread crumbs are golden

Chicken Caserole with Rice - Fry the chicken in unsalted butter, then sauted the leeks and greenbeans in unsalted butterd, added some flour so help thicken then placed in the oven in a casserole dish with a little water and rosemary, it will be farly plain but i dont think we are allowed any other herbs but at least the rice as some sauce(kinda ) when served with the casserole!

I had a look at Maureen list of abbreviation and it wasn't in there that's why I asked, perhaps it might be worth it to include this one too but now that I know I like it! Can anyone join or it's only for the girls that they are ttc in February?

Its only used here so hence not in the abrivation list.... people keep asking so maybe we should change it.

Yes feel free to join us! We are not all TTCing - lots of girls are here asking questions and picking up pointers for a later date. Its a good place for us UK girls to talk about where we can get our bit and bobs in the UK

Hi hun, could you change my name on the roll call please? My god, this is our month, well mine and DH's for TTC!!!! Woo Hoo!!! I can't belive he's gonna be home in 4 sleeps, that just seems so wrong after 7 months of being away!!! I have been doing the diet, and my pH is now 5.6 after normally being at 7.2 ish max. Trouble is, when I have been doing a lime douche it brings my pH too low, so, I am a bit confused what I can do to lower it, I am currently trying to find an Aci-Jel substitute that would be suitable to use, as AF is due on Friday (though may be later due to a late O this month)

Does anyone know how long it takes for diet and supps to affect the blokeees? DH is back on Fri, so in theory will only be able to do 2 weeks before I Ov, and also, we're going to watch the rugby in Cardiff on the 13th with my Dad, and as they don't know we will be swaying, that kinda affects the drinking when we are out. If I was to drink on one day out of the month, will it take my pH back to being in boy territory or do you think it'll be ok?

I will be on here much more now, it's rather exciting, I doubt I will get pg first go, but you never know, TBH I'll be happy with another boy, I just want another baby!!!!! x x x

 Hi Lexy sorry to here your so tired i'm feelin pretty knackered too!

Cymru - I personally wouldn't drink wine or beer i pretended when i went out I had discovered how gorgeous vodka and cranberry was and thats the only alcohol drink I drank while ttc but thats just me, i sure did miss my wine though!!!!

CymruAmByth - dilute the lime more I was just adding a drop or so to the distilled water and only doing the pre douche also justing a little replens every other day. Think its individual how quick the supps lower, but asking the experts they will say give it 3 months.

As for the boozing at the rugby, i was swapping where possible to vodka cranberry as the lowest ph one, but to counteract when i have had to not stick to diet etc i was topping up with candarel sweetners i.e swallowing 5 at a time with water as they are pure asparteme which lowers ph pretty fast... i found they did anyways. I dunno if it was just me but when my ph was low, my mouth was really dry and I had a headache lol so when i wasn't feeling like that i knew it needed work, only torchered myself like this real close to attempt and o tho.

As for blokes... no idea my dh not onboard with swaying but i have slyly had him on cranberry and calcium lol but never tested his ph but have been happy with my attempt to be honest was the most effort i was willing to comit to and if it results boy then so be it, it was more than i was planning to do taking my chances at a 50/50 shot with no factors.

This last month was my first viable attempt and I got my BFP so it does happen albeit my attempt was far from perfect, o sneaked up and surprised me so my timing was closer than i'd have liked. but hey c'est la vie
