Has anyone heard the theory that if your baby girl looks like a boy, then your next one will be boy? I have had family members , friends and strangers come up to me and say that my next one will be a boy.

She does look boyish and strangers will alwys mistake her for a boy even when she's wearing pink....go figure!!!!

In Brazil they have this "Old Wives Tales" gender prediction test that seems to have a high percentage of accuracy...

ü You will need the AGE and the MONTH when you conceived your Baby...
For example: 20 (age) and 7 (month of July)= BOY (EVEN AGE with ODD MONTH)

ð ODD AGE with ODD MONTH= GIRL
ð EVEN AGE with EVEN MONTH= GIRL
ð EVEN AGE with ODD MONTH= BOY
ð ODD AGE with EVEN MONTH= BOY

implantation bleed

Hi there, just wondered how many of you had implantation bleeds and if you had a girl or boy... I didn;t have one with my ds and I did with this preg (not sure of sex).

Also I had a rash on the top of my legs, near to my bikini line and I am sure I read on here someone who had this, had a girl?

this little bubs is a quiet one... well at least s/he feels quite. i felt my first at 15/16 weeks (DS) my second at 12.3 weeks(DD) but i didnt feel regular movement with her until a few weeks later. now with my third i may have felt some movement but for the most part, nothing. do you think that means this is another boy?

has anyone had two babies of the same gender who moved very differently in the womb?

Ok this is my fourth pregnancy, I have 3 girls and do not remember having such an increased sex drive! I even dream about it. It's crazy weird for me. Anybody else experience an increased sex drive with a certain gender? Hoping boys? :D

I was just curious what everyone's experience or opinions were with different symptoms and different pregnancies. My first 2 pg's were both boys and I was very very miserable. I was sick by 5 weeks all the way till 16 weeks. I was even on different medications to help with the all day sickness! This time I was so scared and waiting to be very sick but it never happened...I am now 7 weeks pg and hardley sick at all! I still can't believe it. I am also having headaches usually everyday this time but never had one headache with both my boys...Is there anything to it that different genders could cause different symptoms in you? I also know its very different with everyone but for me things are very strange and different the 3rd time around. I guess time with tell. Love to hear your thoughts-thanks!

Birth Order...little theory I read about... OLD POST FROM 2007

I read about this a while ago but really didn't start thinking about it till this morning. They say the month your baby is conceived may predict the gender but has anyone thought about the month your baby is due? What you do is go by birth order. Here's how to start:

Your first child basically starts the cycle.

My son was due in January which is a girl month. Which would have put me in line for a girl next. I became pregnant in September 2002 but lost the baby. I always had a feeling that this baby was a girl. The baby was due in June 2003. June is a boy month which put me in line for a boy next. I conceived Peyton next in October 2003. His due date was in July. July is a girl month. So if this is right, the baby I'm carrying now may possibly be a girl.

There was a woman who swore by this and predicted all her children this way. I don't know how accurate this could be but it seems it's been right for me so far. Here's a monthly list to help:

January-girl

February-boy

March-girl

April-boy

May-girl

June-boy

July-girl

August-boy

September-girl

October-boy

November-girl

December-boy

For my SIL it has been correct. She had her daughter in February (boy) and sure enough she had a boy next. My best girlfriend's son was due in November and now she has a girl. I was born in October and my mom had my brother next. With my MIL out of 7 children 6 were correct. A friend of my DH's his wife was due with their baby girl in August. They now have a son. My cousin was another one that didn't match. She was due with her son in April but she had a girl last week. So this method is not 100%. But to do it just take the month your child is due and match it up to the months above. Count miscarriages as well if there were any. So far of the few people I figured, 8 out of 10 were correct. This may have something to it or it's all just coincedence but give it a shot and see what you find. Another way to help is to go to astro.com and find the Jonas Method chart and look on the month and year your baby was due.

Independent/Courageous/Emotionally Strong women are more likely to get boys!

Im not too sure of this OWT... but this what the local OWT says over here... dont know how far its true...As far as my case goes, I am not too emotionally strong nor very independant.... but hv 2 boys..

I didn't even know I was pregnant until 7 weeks had no symptoms at all I am 9 weeks today **NO cramps at all **MS started around 7 1/2 weeks but some days I don't have any ms which worried the heck out of me when I do get ms is for like 30 minutes or because I ate too much or because I am too hungry and when I do get nauseas it's for 30 minutes or so then it goes away. **Don't care about food **Didn't gain weight so far **Felling too great wondered sometimes if I was really pregnant **No headaches That is about it... What do you think?? thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Calling all you symptom professionals! Just wanted to know what you all think is baking in the oven.
Here are my symptoms....

Headaches starting @ 10weeks (mainly in the evenings)

All day nausea fron 5.5 weeks after food! Still sick!(only morning sickness with other 2)

Sore breasts expecially nipples before bfp!

Feeling faint 2x @ work

Caffenine make me feel very ill!???

Indegestion(sp)

No food sound good!

Not very hungrey( I was starving with my other two)

Fast heartbeat Doc says (8 week ultrasound 167bpm)

Craving Cherry jolly rancher suckers and Hawaiian shaved ice!! Yummy

Very moody like PMS!! Crabby

I posted this elsewere but thought I would try here too. With DS1 my breasts were sore but not undearable, with DS2 they weren't sore at all now with this pregancy they are killing me especially at night and overnight....taking my bra off last night stopped me in my tracks...ouch.

Anyone have any thoughts...

I tried this a while ago but had used a different website. I used this new website and it was right for my first 3. This is also posted under a different forum - Kits and Calendars I believe. Here is the website http://www.cycletourist.com/biochart/.

You need to put in your birthdate, then the month you conceived, and then the time zone. If you need to figure out conception date, try this webiste to backtrack from birthdate. http://dateoflife.com/prod02.htm

The blue line is the physical line, red is emotional, and green is intellectual. Ignore the green line.

If the blue line is in the positive zone and red line is in the negative zone, then you have a strong chance of conceiving a boy.

If the both blue and red are in the positive zone, then you lean towards having a boy.

If the red line is in the positive zone and blue line is in the negative zone, then you have a strong chance of conceiving a girl.

If the both the red and blue are in the negative zone, then you lean towards having a girl.

It also shows moon phases. Full moon = boy; New moon = girl

My first, both lines in positive zone and full moon = boy. Correct

My second, both lines in positive zone and full moon phase = boy. Correct

My third, both lines positive zone and entering full moon phase = boy. Correct

Surprise pregnancy now, both lines negative zone and new moon = girl? We'll see . . . .

I tried it for friends and family and it worked except for one. That one person had been on Clomid and did IUI.

Ring Test Is Complete Nonsense

Not long after I got my positive HPT I tried this test hoping it would reveal my unborn baby's gender. I tried the version where it is held over the palm of the hand and whatever direction it swings, that is the gender of your child/children. So, of course this is my 6th pregnancy. My results were GBGBGGGG. This was including 4 miscarriages I have had. I've done this test several times and got the same results. Today, just for fun I tried it again to see if I would get the same results and wanted to test a theory on mind control. I held the ring on a string over my hand and said "line" in in my head to see if it would give me a boy result. It went in a circle once and then started swinging back and forth to indicate a boy. I stopped the string and started again and this time said "circle" in my head to see if it would give a girl result and it did. So, Just when I had gotten my hopes up of having 3 girls in a row, I now know that I unknowingly influenced most of the results I got. Although it was correct in indicating the genders of 5 of my 6 pregnancies, I still doubt its accuracy after the test I tried a few moments ago. Now holding the same string with a ring over my belly it swings in a circle to indicate a girl, depending on where it is held. I have held it in different locations over my belly (up near the my ribs, way down below directly over the baby, over the the left and over to the right. I have gotten girl results in each area accept when it is held over to the left where most times it indicates a boy or nothing at all. Anyone else attempt to debunk this test and got any out of the ordinary results?

Based on my symptoms, what's your guess?

So I am still going crazy! Can't stop thinking about what I am having. . .and driving my hubby CRAZY! LoL. . .Thought my ultrasound was Aug. 20th, but realized today it's not till the 26th! So I have to add a whole week to my insanity!!! Anyone care to guess the gender just based on my symptoms? Thanks!!!

I had m/s about 4 days before I found out I was pregnant (at 6 weeks), I still have it off and on, but it has gotten ALOT better. But even the slightest gag sends me to the bathroom. . . I have been pregnant 4 times before, and haven't had the slightest bit of sickness. . .I have been completely off meat (same symptom as with my DS #4) Not really into fruits either tho! My symptoms are more salty, sour, and spicy. . .Alternating between the 3 all the time! I have had some "sweet" cravings for candy. . .But other than that, I really am not that interested in food (with all my other pregnancies, I couldn't stop eating!) Also have bad aversions to anything dairy. . .especially milk!!!

Haven't gained any weight, in fact I have lost 15lbs now. . .BUT I do have a bump. My hair is REALLY dry, and my face has a few pimples on it, not lots, but I only ever get a pimple when I am pmsing. . .other than those things there isn't really any other symptoms. . .I don't feel tired. . .I actually don't *feel* pregnant (If it wasn't for the sickness!)

Also, I'm thinking I conceived one day after ovulation. . .If that makes any difference. . .LoL. . .Wasn't planned AT ALL. . .so there was no swaying involved. . .

Just wanted to see some opinions. . .Trying to pass the time! LoL. . .

Baby girl arrived safely!

Hi all,

My baby girl arrived safely last Sunday, just thought I would share my symptoms and how they differed to my ds....

I stayed team yellow the whole way through and drove myself up the wall with wondering the whole 9 months!

No swaying involved, in fact, probably swayed boy (used preseed, dtd every other day all way through ov, used doggy position, had big O etc)

So don't give up hope!

Hereare the differences to when i was carrying ds...

I had an implantation bleed just before my period was due this time,

I had a rash on the very top on my legs, just below my bikini line,

Had severe heartburn with both pregnancies (probably worse with girl)

No sore boobs this time (very sore and much bigger with ds)

Had metallic taste in mouth with both pregs

Had absolutely no sex drive until the very last 2 weeks (whereas, with ds, i couldn't get enough all way through!)

Leg hair growth was slower with dd and about the same wiith ds

Skin was worse with dd

had head aches with both pregs

Carried very differently (but I think that was only the way baby was lying)... with dd, a big outfront, neat bump and with ds, I put on laods of weight everywhere and it was all round.

Hope these things help some of you!

Oh and had 100% nub guesses (attached) and skull guesses!
