TTC Girl and Sylk Lubricant - Just got BFP

Hi Everyone,

For those of you who are TTC girl and are having trouble getting pregnant, you might want to try Sylk lubricant.  It is fairly acidic (ph is about a 5).  I had heard encouraging things about it before.  After a miscarriage in August 2009, I tried for several months to get pregnant to no avail.  This month, however, I used Sylk as a lubricant for the first time.  I used it during BDing and with TBM.  I just got my BFP this morning!  I'm not sure if this is just a coincidence, and I can't say whether I'm having a girl or not.  However, if you are having some trouble, it might be worth a try.

Congratulations on your BFP!!! I don't know anything about the lube. We used canola oil. But the ph seems good!

Thanks so much, and congratulations to you as well!  It looks as though you and I are at about the same place.  Due in October?  I'm praying for both of us that we see some pink in the fall.

We ttc for a very long time, and I used sylk last month and got a bfp!

Can I get the lubricant in the UK do you know if so what is it called?

You should be able to get it in the UK over the internet.  I did a quick search and it looks like www.amazon.co.uk has it as well as a few other sites.  There is also a www.sylk.co.uk website.  I think you can order it there as well as ask for a free sample to try.  Good luck and lots of baby dust!

I saw a few weeks back that someone on here used it and got a girl.

Wow...so I wonder how many have gotten girls with this! I want to try it but I'm scared. I used preseed with #2 and got a boy.
