Indigo it was me that asked maybebaby to take the UK bit out basically for the reason IWALP said.  I'm a member of another parenting forum and the programme has been get slated on that.  I think some people just don't understand gd.  I'm sure after a few weeks when the hype is over we will be ok to put the UK back in, I just did'nt want our thread singled out as we are obviously in the Uk, I know if it was me visiting this site and seen the Uk in the title, I would automatically look at that thread.  I'm crap at wording things, but hope you get what I mean

It is terrible you get slated in another forum, I can't believe how narrow minded people can be and judgemental about other people's desires and opinions. Thank goodness for IG and all the wonderful women here

Sounds promising!!! Really hope this means pink for you. When is your gender scan?

 

I'd so love this to be true but can't be pinning my hopes on this. Gender scan won't be until 21-24 weeks i think, they don't do sex of baby at 20 week scan in my area so i shall have to get a private one and they let you book that after detailed anomilies scan so when i am around 21-24 weeks. Which is AGGGGGES away in MAY time.

Luci - had a look at the website must say i'm interested, totally something i would be up for, will read more when i have time.

Maybebaby - sooooo hope you are in same position soon, really would love some fellow bfp's in this forum, you especially as you have been working so hard for so long.

IWALP - your dh is going to suss you out if you burst into tears when he gets home!!  Decisions decisions .... I am dreading my 2 getting older and things being so crucial to their future!!  6 and 2 I can handle!!  My 6 year old lost his front tooth at the ball pool the other day.  He looks like a cheeky monkey!!  We have a gas leak in the pipe that feeds the house.  So, another stress, I'll end up with triplet boys with all this stress lol!!  xx

I don't even know if my area of Scotland actually does the 20 week scan now.  They certainly didn't when I was pg with the 2 boys.  FX they do!

hi girls, was wondering where u all were i was on teh feb thread and missed u guys and all your advice, today is day 13, today is first ACTUAL ATTEMPT, so nervous please give me advice, did a dh discard this mornign and testedph-his 8.1 ish ---any ideas on how to get it doen by tonight and tommorrow night, mine is 4.6-5 ish after replens so gonna keep doing replens, took 10 aspartame tabs in my milk (yuck)----any advice...not too sure what i am doing, usually +opk on day16/17 so if i do bd today and tommorrow then thats a 2 day cut off---BUT last moonth FF said ovulated on day 23 so may then abstain (not dh --still discard) only me abstain for day 15,16,17, and do bding on day 19,20,21...

WHAT WOULD YOU GIRLS DO---PLEASE ADVISE--SO NERVOUS FOR TONIGHT

I don't think it will b this month. My temps have been 35.7, 36.30 then 36 ish today. My attempt has been but I think I might have O'd today .

I think that even if I wasn't swayng I would find it hard to get PG. Blinky O date is never the same. Plus my chart looks like the ups and downs on the London to Brighton bike ride map. I have never had a temp that low before - I am sure it's the Saw Palmetto!

Where do you get aspartame tabs from? Is this like crystal light?

Saw Palmetto is a supp to lower testosterone - or is it to up estrogen? I get confussed

Whatever - it mucks things up I am sure!

From the FAQ - Saw Palmetto standardized -320mg a day (thats one pill a day)- Make sure to buy the standardized kind. Take from AF to O.. not to be taken in the 2ww or with pg!  This lowers testrone, lowers estrogen and rasies progesterone.  Do not take this with Clomid.  There are some warnings so please read the warning sticky.  For more info please read this

Not sure that I recomend this one - I think it makes things a bit wacky. I may just take it for a few days at the begining of next cycle

Aberdeen and they did stopped it few years ago now, to a) cut waiting times by reducing each scan length of time slot per person due to the influx of polish ppl hosp had steep increase in pregnant ppl and b) to avoid issues with wrong gender being told. Can pay for a gender scan at a private clinic BUT they will only do after yout 20 week detailed scan and allow you to have it between 21 and i think 26 weeks.

lola, if u buy hermecetes sweetener tablets --in tesco here in dublin--dont know where u are, the hermecetes has avery high aspartame level in it and they are samll--u can jus take a teaspoon of yoghurt adn eat it quick.hth

IWALP - hi there, I had a sexing scan with my youngest at Babybond at 17 weeks.  I didn't even get a detailed nhs scan at 20 weeks so hope that's changed.  If I ever get pg that is

I was reading a thread on another site with over 300 replies regarding last weeks programme with pinktastic.  At the end of this I felt quite ashamed of my gender desire.  I don't want to feel anything other than excitement when i finally conceive or when i go to find out the sex of the baby or hopefully when I get a 20 week scan.  I think the private scans last time really helped me bond with my 2nd son as i'd really hoped he was my little girl!  Ideally I'd like a surprise but in reality ... no chance.  Want to spend lots of time on babys room this time round too, no time for that once baby arrives no matter 'how good' they are!!!
